Is the Individual plan really free?
Yes, absolutely. We believe every researcher deserves great tools. The Individual plan is free forever with no credit card required. We fund this through Lab and Institutional subscriptions.
What happens when I upgrade to Lab?
Your existing projects transfer seamlessly. You gain collaborative features, more storage, and can invite lab members. Billing is per user, and you can add or remove seats anytime.
Do you offer student discounts?
The Individual plan is already free for all academic researchers including students. For Lab plans at educational institutions, we offer significant discounts—contact us for details.
Can I export my data?
Always. Your research is yours. Export in standard formats (BibTeX, RIS, CSV) at any time, even on the free plan. No lock-in, ever.
What about data privacy?
We take researcher privacy seriously. Your papers, notes, and manuscripts are never used to train our AI models. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and institutional data policies.
